Gulbarga Community College for Women was a registered Community College with Indira Gandhi
National Open University from 2009-2013. The IGNOU discontinued community college scheme
from 15th June, 2013.
Central University of Karnataka has approved the Gulbarga Community College for Women, to implement the University approved Vocational courses under its Community College Scheme 2013. Health Care assistant course is approved by the Central University of Karnataka for Gulbarga Community College for Women 2013-2014. Community College scheme discontinued with the change in Govt. at the Centre, May 2014.

In March 2018, our present organisation ICRDCE has been affiliated as Approved Training Partner of NSDC under the non-funding scheme of next three years of execution with 111 community colleges with 36 job rolls under 15 sectors. This scheme facilitates all community colleges to get National recognized certificate from the Government.
Gulbarga Community College is one among 111 community colleges approved by NSDC as the Non-funding Training Centre.
